JLGCWC will Co-organize a Side Event at UN Water ConferenceIssuing time:2023-03-15 09:51 Taking next steps for a water and climate resilient world through capacity development of people and organizations The United Nations 2023 Water Conference includes the opening and closing ceremonies, six plenary meetings and five interactive dialogues, as well as side events and other special activities. The Joint International Research Laboratory of Global Change and Water Cycle (JLGCWC) will co-organize the side event " Taking next steps for a water and climate resilient world through capacity development of people and organizations " held on March 23, 2023. For development in water to be sustainable, it is an absolute must to invest in capacity development. This side event builds on earlier discussions and presents capacity development as key to tacklingwater and climate challenges, including mitigation and adaptation, to accelerate progress towards achievement of all water and climate-related SDGs.
